BioSteel removed the added natural colouring from several flavours in 2025. While the core formula — electrolytes, B vitamins, and sweetener — remains the same, some customers notice a subtle taste difference when the colouring is removed. This is a real and understandable perception, not a product issue.
What changed: Natural colouring (derived from fruit and vegetable juice and beta carotene) was removed. The product was never artificially coloured.
What didn't change: Ingredients, electrolyte levels, nutrition facts, and sweetener (stevia).
