Why did my BioSteel powder change colour? Why is it white now?

BioSteel intentionally removed the added natural colouring from several flavours. This is a permanent change, not a bad batch.

What changed:

• The powder now appears white or lighter instead of its previous colour
• The natural colouring that was removed was derived from fruit and vegetable juice and beta carotene — BioSteel has never used artificial colouring
• The formula is otherwise the same: same electrolytes, same B vitamins, same nutrition, same hydration

Affected flavours include Blue Raspberry, Pink Lemonade, Mixed Berry, Peach Mango, Rainbow Twist, and others.

If the inner seal on your container was intact when you opened it, your product is genuine and safe to use. The colour change is the only difference you'll notice visually.
